Lots of petrol has been conserved as nobody is moving from their home. This is because all the things we could want are ordered through a pixel pilot; a specialized drone used for the transportation of most goods. Jobs involving daily wage workers such as factory workers have been replaced with super-designed machines that work with immense precision and efficiency. Football matches are still one of the most popular bonding occasions for friends and family as team #576 and #356 fight for the World Cup. However, they are now played underground as the heat outside has become unbearable due to the mass effects of global warming.
“Father, could you please tell us more stories about that virus from 2019?”, asked my son one Sunday afternoon. “Yes, of course, my dear son!”, I replied promptly, as the memories still haunt my existence. “I was only 14 years old when COVID-19 struck the world in the most shocking, unpredictable, and unimaginable manner. Back then, technological was not as advanced as it is today so we had to wait approximately a year and a half for a vaccine to be released. Society as a whole was frustrated, agitated, and discouraged to name a few because we were essentially confined to the four walls of our homes for the duration of this. This was the most contagious virus we had come across till this point hence we had no choice but to follow protocol. Suddenly, the world came to a halt where no air travel was taking place, schools and colleges were completely shut and all outdoor recreational activities all of a sudden stopped. The initial few months were extremely boring personally and then one fine day, your grandma asked me a question that made me numb for a few seconds. She said, “What is the one thing you can do during this unprecedented time that can teach you more about yourself?”.
The world after covid -19 is unlikely to return to the world that was
